A music therapy group for new parents and caregivers.

Fee: $150 for four sessions

This group will focus on the therapeutic benefits of lullabies for babies as well as caregivers. Singing can help caregivers communicate security and comfort to their little ones, while simultaneously helping them to release their own feelings of stress. We will explore the therapeutic aspects of singing, discover each member’s song of kin (a song that has familial or cultural significance) and create personalized lullabies.

Your insurance will only cover a 60-minute portion of the extended session. New York Creative Arts Therapists will reimburse you for any portion that is paid by your insurance after we have filed your claim.

If you have a different insurance carrier (i.e. Aetna, United Healthcare, BCBS)  with a PPO plan supporting out-of-network benefits, you are eligible for reimbursement after your deductible has been met.
