Supervision

We are currently recruiting for a new supervision group starting January 2012. 

Seeking inquisitive, clinically-minded masters-level therapists who would relish the chance to make art each week in the service of exploring specific client and work-related issues. Group begins in January, Thursdays 10:30 am -12pm. Please e-mail for more details. 

Art Therapy Supervision for LCAT and ATR.

As nationally board-certified art therapists we are qualified to provide individual or group supervision to art therapists working towards their ATR (Registered Art Therapist) credential or ADTR (Registered Dance Therapist).

As licensed creative arts therapists (LCAT) in New York State with over three years full-time post-license experience in the field, we are qualified to supervise LCAT-limited permit holders earning hours towards full licensure. As required by the state, compensation must be paid directly by your employer and a memorandum of understanding between all parties is required. We are happy to assist with this process.

"Art in Therapy" Supervision for Social Workers and other mental health practitioners.

As part of our mission we are committed to providing continuing education on current practices in the field of art therapy and its applications in the wider scope of mental health. In keeping with that we offer individual and group supervision for "non-art therapists" who seek to ethically and effectively use the visual arts and other non-verbal interventions in their practice. In clinical supervision we strive to integrate the arts, the theoretical stance of the individual clinician, and current best-practice interventions for maximum treatment efficacy.
